Established in 1995 to facilitate interaction and cooperation among the various private groups and government agencies involved with the national scenic and historic trails of the National Trails System.

Partnership Resource Center
The PRC is produced by the Forest Service and hosted by the National Forest Foundation. It's goal is to promote partnerships between the Forest Service, other agencies, and private organizations to work together to manage public lands. The PRC Web site is designed as an easily accessible source of information on potential partners, policies, and success stories.
