From San Diego to Campo:
From downtown San Diego, you need to get to El Cajon Transit Center via bus or trolley (several routes are available) where you will transfer to the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System bus to Campo (Route 894). A current schedule is available on from the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.
San Diego Trail Angels
Tehachapi:
Tehachapi now has a taxi service. Call 661-600-2771. The driver will pick you up and take you anywhere in the area.
The Sierra:
Inyo Mono Transit now offers The CREST bus service between
Reno /Tahoe International Airport and Bishop, CA, and Mammoth
Lakes, CA, to Ridgecrest, CA. The one-way fare is very reasonable,
ranging from $3.00 to $28.00 depending on where you would
like to go.
Inyo Mono Transit also offers local bus service in Bishop,
Lone Pine and Mammoth Lakes. Town-to-Town is offered between
Bishop and Mammoth, Lone Pine and Bishop, and Walker and Bishop.

Washington State:
Greyhound no longer stops at Snoqualmie Pass, but Northwestern Trailways will drop off or pick up ("flag stop") twice daily at Stevens Pass to take you west to Everett/Seattle or east to Leavenworth/Wenatchee. A shuttle bus will take you from High Bridge to Stehekin 4 times daily. There a boat will take you to Chelan twice daily, and Chelan county route 21 will take you to Wenatchee several times daily.
Skamania County provides cheap thrice daily flag stop bus service along the Columbia Gorge from Stevenson past the Bridge of the Gods to east Vancouver, where Clark County bus service can take you downtown to a Greyhound stop.
There is no public transit over White Pass or Rainy Pass.
The Siskiyou county STAGE has service to Seiad Valley on Mondays and Fridays from Yreka. The bus stops at the store/post office right on the trail. See link for details
