Thanks to Ralph Looney and the Sutter-Buttes Unit of the Backcountry Horsemen for logging out the PCT from Belden north to Williams Cabin Flat. As of the last week of April, snow was being encountered above 4,200' The Chico Hiking Association will also be working on the section south of Burney in early June. Thank-you! It is important to remember that while the snow may be melting off rapidly at lower elevations, areas such as Lassen Volcanic NP in this section got an immense amount of snow this past winter.
