All Members will receive:

• The PCT Communicator, PCTA’s full-color, members-only magazine (International members will be charged an additional $25 for shipping and handling);
• a one-year subscription to Backpacker Magazine* (U.S. Residents only);
• a Pacific Crest Trail decal;
• Discounts on PCTA store items and PCTA activities;
• invitations to participate in trail classes and volunteer trail projects;
• a wilderness permit for travel over 500 continuous miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (available upon request at www.pcta.org);
• the knowledge that your membership helps to protect and preserve the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail for future generations

Special Note: All memberships apply to households. This means that for each membership issued, those within that household receive permit privileges as well as discounts at our online store. Each member household receives one copy of our Communicator magazine.

* Thank you for your support! Pacific Crest Trail Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your membership dues are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law minus $5 for Backpacker magazine subscription.  A subscription to Backpacker Magazine, valued at $5 is included and is non-deductible from the membership dues.  If you are already a subscriber, your subscription will be extended by 1 year. Offer valid for U.S. residents only.  It may take 6-8 weeks to receive your first issue of Backpacker magazine.
