As part of the ongoing and expanding trail advocacy efforts we continue to seek funding in support of land acquisition, conservation easements, trail maintenance, management and operations.

A component of these efforts includes an annual trip to Washington DC in collaboration with American Hiking Society and the Partnership for the National Trails System. The annual “Hike the Hill” trip is attended by PCTA volunteers and staff. 

A significant part of the effort includes preparing and presenting information for Congressional offices. Thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers and the donation of design and production services by Jones & Stokes, our Hike the Hill materials continue to provide an effective means of communicating our message.
