year's PCTA Annual Gathering in Seattle was a huge success.
More than 300 members and guests joined us for the Trail
Classes and vendor fair and approximately 250 attended
the Awards Dinner and enjoyed a slide presentation from keynote
speaker Jim Whittaker (the first American to summit Everest).
We
hope that you'll join us this year in Sacramento, Calif.,
on April 3, 2004 for another fun Pacific Crest Trail Fest,
Annual Gathering. There's lots to look forward to including:
expanded vendor fair, silent auction,
Trail Classes and keynote speaker, former Secretary of
the Interior, Bruce Babbitt.

WHAT:
Pacific Crest Trail Fest is the Pacific Crest Trail Association's
2004 Annual Gathering and Trail Classes
event.
WHY:
• To help fulfill our mission of protecting, preserving
and promoting the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail by offering
members and the general public the opportunity to learn more
about the trail, our goals and successes.

To recognize individuals and organizations who've had a significant
impact on the trail and/or association.
