Lauren Jerd
My name is Lauren Jerd, trailname Gazelle and my mother Carole and I live in San Diego city and are offering to pick up hikers at the San Diego airport, train stations etc. We are also available to give rides around the San Diego area for example, grocery store, REI etc. And hikers are welcome to stay the night at our home for a night or even a few days.
Warning we do own a cat in case that is a problem for anyone. Of course we are also giving rides out to the start of the trail at Campo. Also if hikers need a ride in the general Southern California area (Orange County, Riverside County, Los Angeles) it is possible that we could provide assistance in this regard as well, but we would have to limit the amount of long driving trips like this. The best way to contact me is through my email at ljerd@uci.edu.
