The PCT guidebook out of stock at Amazon
I noticed this morning that Amazon is out of stock on all three volumes of the Wilderness Press PCT guidebooks. If you order them today, it will take anywhere from 2 – 13 days before they ship. Could the apparently incorrect rumors about the demise of Wilderness Press be causing a sudden rush of sales of this three volume set? I would have ordered today if I didn’t already have two sets at home; one set on the bookshelf, the second set cut up into sections that I carry on the trail. I haven’t used the Wilderness Press guidebooks hiking the last two years, but they are still an excellent resource that belongs in every Pacific Crest Trail hiker’s library. Hopefully the sudden surge in demand prompts Wilderness Press to figure out a way to keep these books updated and in print.
