Halfmile’s Pacific Crest Trail maps and GPS data have been updated for the 2012 hiking season.
Theses maps are the most current and accurate PCT maps available. They are created using GPS data logged while hiking the trail in 2007 – 2011. No other PCT maps are based on such accurate information.
Mileage estimates closely match the Wilderness Press Data Book used by the Water Report, Yogi’s Handbook, etc., so it’s easy and convenient to use my maps with other information sources.
The maps also have many useful notes and annotations [about water, resupply and other information], alternate routes and side trails, and UTM grids.
Halfmile’s Trail Notes [my version of a data book] will be will be ready in about month.
