MODIS satellite imagery of the Reading Fire this evening.
The Pacific Crest Trail is closed in Lassen National Park due to the lightning-caused Reading Fire. The fire has grown to 3,300 acres.
MODIS satellite imagery shows the fire burned the PCT from about mile 1,368 to 1370 today but the fire appears to be growing to the north and east and will likely burn more of the trail.
