Twice a year we attend the outdoor industry trade show. It’s an important time to network with the brands that make the gear that’s used on our trail. This time at ‘OR’ pays dividends as we seek and gain support from this $120 billion dollar industry. Our partners’ commitment to our cause, their expertise and their donation of time, money and other resources are key to the continuing and future success of the PCTA.
It’s also a ton of fun. We’ll be posting photos as the show goes on. If you’re attending, stop by our booth at #A-116.
Seth Levy and Greg Wozer. Leki, powering you up the trail while powering us behind the scenes.
Hiking and chocolate go together like zero days and pizza. Sneak peak! Salazon Chocolate is releasing a fair trade and organic bar and the proceeds benefit us! mmmm….
Cordura and Eddie Bauer donated goodies to our volunteers and we gave them some sweet PCT earings in return. Smiles all around!
Board member and trail pioneer Eric Ryback will be joined by Liz and his daughter Laura at the Keen happy hour on Thursday. Kick back and join us!
We’re wishing PCT supporter David Jayo, Corporate Giving Manager at REI, good luck but not good-bye. He’s leaving REI to work as a Senior Advisor to Sally Jewell, our 51st Secretary of the Interior.
Sean Gobin (Warrior Hike), Amy McCormick (Appalachian Trail Conservancy) and Liz Bergeron (PCTA) having a blast at the KEEN happy hour that they’re hosting in our honor.
Our own Angie Williamson smiling with Mona West from Thermarest. We’re friends.
Esbit is offering sweet gear in exchange for a donation to us. THANKS!
Our booth at Outdoor Retailer. Lots of people stop by and pick up a magazine or some stickers. We’re typically in meetings and not present.
