PCTA.org goes responsive

Welcome to our new look!

It’s more beautiful and mobile friendly.

Thirty percent of you are reading this on a mobile device.  Today, we’ve joined the leading edge of web design with the release of our new “responsive” template. You’ll find the site readable without the usual pinching, zooming and panning.

Our blog and the extensive content that we launched last February are still here and the navigation is the same. Beyond the new theme, we’ve cleaned up the homepage and we’re testing a new feature called The Journalist (it’s in beta). It will grow into a one-stop-shop for trail journals (geek speak: it’s an RSS aggregator).

Big thanks to Ryan for making this happen. He’s overdue for a pizza and a beer.

Happy trails!

It's a new day here at PCTA.
