Welcome to Gina Edwards, Volunteer Programs Assistant

Join us in welcoming Gina Edwards, our new Volunteer Programs Assistant!

Originally an east-coaster, Gina grew up in Waterford, Connecticut and attended college at the University of Maine in Orono. Prior to joining us in Sacramento, Gina worked as a Field Instructor and Program Assistant for the Teton Science Schools. She helped organize and implement everything from program curriculum to volunteer projects within the Jackson Hole community.

Additionally, she spent a summer working as a Summit Steward with the Adirondack Mountain Club, where she used trail education and maintenance to protect the fragile alpine communities throughout the High Peaks Region.

Outside of work, Gina is a weekend warrior, spending most weekends living out of her converted van and climbing. She also loves long distance hiking and organic gardening.
