A new Pacific Crest Trail community cookbook launched and it’s seeking recipes

A new Pacific Crest Trail community cookbook launched and it’s seeking recipes. Imagine a book of innovative and trail-tested recipes, created by you, for you. That’s What’s Cooking on The PCT.

The creation of Martin “Rainman” Leghart, the book aims to be useful (who doesn’t want to take the stress out of meal planning?), and community oriented.  Did you hike or ride this year? Whether it was a section or a thru-hike, it doesn’t matter. Submit your recipes and see what other people this year were eating.

Added bonus? Martin has committed to donating 50% of all net profits to PCTA. Together, we’ll make this trail even better.

So, check out the project at www.cookingonthepct.com, submit your favorite PCT-tested recipe, and let’s create something wonderful!
