Join us in welcoming Ellen Ginda, our new Volunteer Programs Assistant

We are pleased to announce the hiring of a new Volunteer Programs Assistant Ellen Ginda.

Ellen is a three-time AmeriCorps alumna and joins us after nearly three years with the Sacramento SPCA. Ellen worked primarily in the SSPCA’s high volume spay and neuter clinic, overseeing 50+ spay/neuter procedures per day. Prior to working for the SSPCA, Ellen worked with Portland, Oregon’s Habitat for Humanity affiliate as an AmeriCorps construction crew leader, and as a corps member on an AmeriCorps NCCC Fire Management Team. Thanks to her time with AmeriCorps, Ellen is passionate about coordinating meaningful and memorable volunteer experiences, and she is particularly delighted to do this on behalf of the finest hiking and equestrian trail in the Western US!

Ellen is a great addition to the PCTA team. Having worked in the field with volunteers and at a high paced office environment, she will be very capable of helping PCTA volunteers. We are very excited to have her onboard and look forward to getting her out to meet the volunteers.

She can be reached at [email protected] or [email protected] if you are interested in signing up for a project.
