About Heather
Heather Porter is from Sydney, Australia and is beyond passionate about the outdoors. Founder of Hike it Out, a movement to help preserve the earth, Heather hikes with a mission to get outside and keep it clean and in its natural state. She is inspired by the sheer realization: “we are capable”—knowing and proving to ourselves that we can accomplish anything. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and camping, with her greatest achievement being completing a 24-hour adventure race, GeoQuest, twice.
