Snoqualmie Pass National Trails Day June 6

| | |

Please join PCTA’s Seattle-based North 350 Blades group for some fun trail work on National Trails Day at Snoqualmie Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail. We welcome the first time volunteers to this one day outing, no previous experience needed. Help us maintain this iconic National Scenic Trail, the PCT travels from Canada to Mexico, right through our own local forest. We will have extra crew leaders for helping those new to trail work with the ability to sign up larger groups like Scout troops or clubs. This location will feature super easy access to the Pacific Crest Trail, 50 miles east of Seattle via I-90, with ski area parking lot and short hiking distance to get to the work areas. This one day project will include a variety of trail maintenance issues where you can learn new skills or can challenge the skills you already know.

U.S./Mexico Border North #1

Come on out for a day of trail maintenance, see the PCT’s southern terminus next to the US/Mexico border, and have some fun. We will meet near the Southern Terminus and work on 2.3 miles of trail between the border and Highway 94. We will be doing some brushing and some tread work on sections of the trail that are not shedding water properly.
