The Great Fire is burning the Pacific Crest Trail south of Scissors Crossing. It has grown to 2,000 acres and is 20% contained.

Shadow Lake Fire Closes PCT, Big Lake Youth Camp Evacuated
The Shadow Lake Fire closes the Pacific Crest Trail and causes the evacuation of the Big Lake Youth Camp. The PCT is closed from Highway 20 to Highway 242.
