Mount San Jacinto State Park campground open to PCT hikers despite mid-week closure
The Mount San Jacinto State Park campground in Idyllwild is closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through May 1st due to budget cuts, but Pacific Crest Trail hikers can self-register and camp at the park campground in the hike/bike campsite next to site #7, according to Park Superintendent Garratt Aitchison.
